CLID THE SNAIL
A dark fable about a grumpy humanoid snail armed to the radula. A Top-Down Shooter focused on narrative and a mindful combat system. Clid, expelled from his home citadel, ends up hanging with a peculiar gang of outcasts: a shy hedgehog, a shaman turtle, a mute bat, a ninja frog, and a one-eyed chameleon. Along with them, he must stop the plague of slugs that threatens his little world.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Game Designer:
Design and implementation of different parts of the combat system (e.g., all main weapons and special abilities).
Design of some mechanics and specific elements for each level (e.g., puzzles).
Design of some of the boss fights in the game.
Collaborator on the design of the enemies, the encounters, and the general structure of the game.
Programmer:
Coding of game mechanics & systems.
Programming of in-engine tools necessary for development (e.g., camera system, subtitles...).
Bug fixes and QA.
Sole programmer in charge of the port to all PC platforms.
Integration with Razer Chroma.
Producer:
Production tasks: planning, organization, team support, and communications with the publisher.
Sound Designer:
Compilation and edition of sound effects.
Design and implementation of the necessary systems and adjustments for the OST of the game.
